Expressions of interest - passes 4,000
Over 4,100 participants have already expressed their intention to be part of the complete WINGS2009 Experience as part of 205 units from three of the continents of the World. Plus over 250 volunteers have signed up to be part of the fabulous WINGS2009 Staff Team. Welcome to you all.
WINGS2009 Display Stand Events
Berkshire
Scouts Centenary Ball
The WINGS2009 Display was at the Berkshire Scouts Centenary Ball at the Hilton Hotel in Bracknell on 10 November 2007. Each guest at the Centenary Ball received a goody bag with a WINGS2009 Card in it.
The striking Display Panel attracted much attention and revived memories of the great times at WINGS2003, WINGS'98 and WINGS'93. Look for a surge in the staff numbers over the next few weeks!
Berkshire Scouts Picnic in the Park
The WINGS2009 Display was at the Berkshire Scouts Centenary Picnic in Wellington Country Park on 23 September. A wrap around for the container was on show for the first time and turns the wheelie container in to an attractive literature stand.

Gilwell Reunion '07
The WINGS2009 base at the Gilwell Reunion '07 in September attracted much attention with copies of the WINGS2009 flyers, posters and cards in hot demand.
World Scout Jamboree

WINGS2009 had a strong presence at the 21st World Scout Jamboree held in August 2007. The display stand was hosted by Mark Thornton on the Mountain Hub, the Berkshire Contingent handed out WINGS2009 cards to other Units and the members of JOT/JDT/IST distributed special Jamboree WINGS2009 cards to the thousands of IST from around the world.
Berkshire Scouts Centenary Celebration
The brand new WINGS2009 Display stand had its first outing at the Berkshire Scouts Centenary Celebration at the Royal Berkshire Conference at the Madjeski Stadium in Reading in July. The photo shows Margaret and Richard Ellison with the display.
